Debuting in No. 3 on the internet Jazz category in 2004 with the CD Happy Coat. Mr. Osabe is gathering another effort with Harold Jones and James Hughart for another CD recording called, "Happy Count," a compilation of count Basie's music.

Recording is anticipated for this Spring in Capitol Records studio in Hollywood. Sure to be a classic like the Happy Coat  CD which included the renown bassist Ray Brown, the new line up of bassist James Hughart and Harold Jones on drums will accompany with a new concert tour in the Fall in Tokyo.
